Absolutely not! It is never too late to start taking your guitar playing seriously! over the years, I've taken on students of all ages, and the methods in the courses work no matter what age you are, as long as you put the work in. 

Yes, there is one reason why you wouldn't see results, and it's quite simply this: If you don't implement the strategies the courses show you and follow the diligent practice methods the courses advise, then you won't see results.
