The second book in the series is an excellent source for information, understanding and developing your guitar theory and technique and a natural progression from the first book in the series covering more advanced concepts. Both books have allowed me to considerable improve my understanding of theory and technique. Anthony clearly explains the concepts with plenty of practical examples. I have previously purchased other books, however what I find with these are the ease of use and clear explanations of sometimes complicated concepts. They follow a logical path allowing you to develop good technique from the start. Highly recommended and should be part of every aspiring and experienced guitarists collection!

I don't have book one and have dived straight in with book 2 here. I have the pleasure of lessons with the author and wanted the book so I had something to work through.
I normally suck at learning from books and my first reaction was that there were a lot of words, but the words are definitely interesting and worthwhile, they explain lots and add context.
The lessons take you through steps and even though I've been playing for around 30 years I've picked up some new runs and tricks and phrases which, if you've seen me on stage recently you'll have heard!!
Really enjoying the book, great stuff in there and really well put together.
Recommended it to a guitarist friend who bought both book 1 and 2 and he's loving it as well.
